If sensitive documents are required in connection with financing, due diligence, or a transaction, AMI may provide a more appropriate method for transmitting those materials.
3. Sources of Personal Information
AMI may collect personal information directly from you when you contact us, submit a website form, inquire about a property, request brokerage or financing services, communicate with a member of our team, provide transaction documents, or otherwise interact with us.
We may also receive information from property owners, landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, investors, brokers, agents, lenders, escrow and title companies, attorneys, accountants, property managers, service providers, publicly available records, commercial real estate databases, listing services, social media platforms, advertising platforms, analytics providers, and other sources relevant to a legitimate real estate transaction or business purpose.

We will not use personal information for materially different purposes without providing additional notice or obtaining consent when required by law.
5. Commercial Real Estate and Brokerage Information
Commercial real estate transactions frequently require information to be shared among multiple parties.
When reasonably necessary to evaluate, market, negotiate, finance, document, or complete a transaction, AMI may disclose relevant information to buyers, sellers, owners, landlords, tenants, brokers, agents, lenders, financing sources, escrow companies, title companies, attorneys, accountants, property managers, inspectors, consultants, contractors, governmental authorities, and other persons involved in or supporting the transaction.
AMI limits such disclosures to information reasonably appropriate for the applicable business or transaction purpose, subject to contractual, fiduciary, professional, and legal obligations.
Certain property and transaction information may also become publicly available through public records, commercial listing platforms, multiple listing services, marketing materials, regulatory filings, or recorded documents.
6. Financing and Lending Information
AMI's services may include assisting clients in evaluating or obtaining financing.
Information collected for financing purposes may include information regarding the property, ownership structure, requested financing, financial condition, transaction structure, existing obligations, and other information requested by potential lending sources.
Where appropriate, AMI may provide relevant information to banks, lenders, mortgage professionals, financing sources, underwriters, loan processors, appraisers, escrow providers, title companies, attorneys, and other professionals involved in evaluating or completing financing.
Certain consumer financial relationships may be subject to additional federal or California financial privacy requirements. If AMI enters into a relationship for which a separate financial privacy notice is required, that notice may supplement this Privacy Policy.
Commercial or business-purpose financing may be treated differently under applicable financial privacy laws.
7. How We Disclose Personal Information
AMI may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, website administration, cloud storage, email, customer relationship management, communications, analytics, cybersecurity, document management, professional services, accounting, legal services, and marketing support.
AMI may also disclose information to parties involved in actual or contemplated commercial real estate transactions or financing transactions where reasonably necessary to provide requested services.
Information may be disclosed when required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, governmental investigation, licensing requirement, or other lawful process.
We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect AMI, our clients, our personnel, our systems, or the rights, property, or safety of another person.
If AMI undergoes a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
8. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
AMI does not sell personal information for monetary consideration as part of our ordinary business model.
California law defines “sale” and “sharing” more broadly than an exchange of information for money. In particular, certain uses of advertising technologies may constitute “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
[AMI MUST VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING: If the website does not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising, use the following sentence:]
AMI does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
[If AMI uses Meta Pixel, Google advertising, remarketing, or similar cross-site advertising technology, replace the preceding sentence with:]
AMI may use certain digital advertising technologies that may constitute “sharing” under California law. Where required, California residents may opt out through our privacy controls, cookie settings, a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or “Your Privacy Choices” mechanism, or an applicable opt-out preference signal.
AMI does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AMI's website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, understand website usage, maintain security, measure website performance, and, where enabled, support marketing activities.
Our website platform and other technology providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, device information, website activity, and cookie identifiers.
Some cookies are necessary for the website to function. Others may support analytics or advertising.
Where required by applicable law, users will be provided appropriate choices regarding nonessential cookies or technologies.
10. California Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control Disclosures
Some internet browsers provide a “Do Not Track” or similar signal. Because there is not a single universally accepted standard governing traditional Do Not Track signals, our website may not respond to all traditional Do Not Track signals.
California's Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) is different. Where the CCPA applies to AMI and an applicable GPC or other legally recognized opt-out preference signal is received, AMI will process that signal as required by California law.
Depending on the technologies enabled on our website, third-party analytics or advertising providers may collect information regarding a visitor's activities over time and across different websites or online services.
11. Data Retention
AMI retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business and transaction records, to manage ongoing relationships, and to satisfy applicable legal, contractual, tax, accounting, regulatory, licensing, professional, and dispute-resolution requirements.
Commercial real estate transaction records that AMI is legally required to maintain will be retained for at least the period required by applicable California real estate law.
General inquiries and prospect information may be maintained for a reasonable period to respond to the inquiry, document the relationship, and allow appropriate future follow-up.
Marketing contact information may be maintained until you unsubscribe, request deletion where applicable, or AMI determines that retaining the information is no longer reasonably necessary.
Technical and security information may be retained for periods reasonably necessary to operate, secure, monitor, and improve our systems.
Where a legal obligation, litigation hold, investigation, contractual requirement, or other legitimate requirement applies, information may be retained longer.
12. Security
AMI uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, misuse, loss, or destruction.
Access to personal information is limited where reasonably appropriate to personnel, contractors, and service providers who need the information for legitimate business purposes.
However, no internet transmission, electronic storage system, email system, or other method of storing information can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
For that reason, users should not transmit highly sensitive financial information through ordinary website forms or unencrypted email unless specifically directed to do so through an appropriate secure process.
13. Email and Marketing Communications
If you receive marketing or informational communications from AMI, you may unsubscribe using the instructions included in the communication or by contacting us.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, AMI may continue sending nonmarketing communications relating to an existing transaction, inquiry, contractual relationship, legal obligation, or requested service.
14. Third-Party Websites and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, listing platforms, social media services, mapping services, financing providers, or other external resources.
AMI does not control the privacy practices of those third parties. Their collection and use of personal information are governed by their own policies.
We encourage users to review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing personal information.
15. California Privacy Rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to AMI and to the information at issue, California residents may have the right to request information regarding the categories and specific pieces of personal information AMI has collected about them; request information regarding the sources, purposes, and recipients of that information; request deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions; request correction of inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where the statutory right applies; access information concerning certain automated decisionmaking technologies where applicable; opt out of certain covered automated decisionmaking where applicable; and exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.
Some information may be exempt from these rights under applicable law.
For example, AMI may be required or permitted to retain information necessary to complete transactions, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, maintain required brokerage records, detect fraud or security incidents, exercise or defend legal claims, or otherwise comply with applicable exceptions.
If AMI is not legally subject to a particular CCPA requirement, AMI may nevertheless consider reasonable privacy requests on a voluntary basis where feasible.
16. Sensitive Personal Information
AMI does not use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals.
To the extent AMI collects sensitive personal information in connection with a legitimate brokerage, financing, transaction, security, legal, or compliance purpose, AMI intends to use and disclose that information only as reasonably necessary for those purposes unless otherwise disclosed and permitted by law.
If AMI engages in uses of sensitive personal information that create a statutory right to limit under California law, AMI will provide the legally required method for exercising that right.
17. Exercising California Privacy Rights
California residents who wish to submit an applicable privacy request may contact AMI at:
Email: [PRIVACY EMAIL ADDRESS]
Telephone: [PHONE NUMBER]
Mail: Asset Managers Inc., [BUSINESS MAILING ADDRESS]
Please include sufficient information for AMI to reasonably understand and respond to your request.
AMI may need to verify your identity before responding to requests to know, access, delete, or correct personal information. Verification methods will depend on the nature of the request and sensitivity of the information involved.
We will use information provided for verification only as reasonably necessary to verify and process the request.
Where legally required, AMI will acknowledge and respond to privacy requests within the time periods established by applicable law.
18. Authorized Agents
Where permitted by California law, a California resident may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on the resident's behalf.
AMI may require documentation demonstrating that the agent has authority to act for the individual and may separately verify the identity of the individual or confirm that the individual authorized the request.
19. Non-Discrimination
AMI will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable California law.
Exercising a privacy right will not result in unlawful denial of services, different pricing, different quality of service, retaliation, or another prohibited form of discrimination.
20. Notice at Collection
At or before the point where AMI collects personal information, AMI may provide a shorter Notice at Collection identifying the categories of information being collected, the purposes for collection and use, applicable sale or sharing practices, retention information or retention criteria, and a link to this Privacy Policy.
The Notice at Collection forms part of this Privacy Policy.
21. California “Shine the Light”
California Civil Code section 1798.83 may provide certain California customers with rights regarding disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct-marketing purposes.
AMI does not ordinarily disclose client personal information to unaffiliated third parties for their own independent direct-marketing purposes.
If applicable, requests regarding California Civil Code section 1798.83 may be submitted using the contact information identified in the “Contact Us” section below.
22. Children and Minors
AMI's website and commercial real estate services are not directed toward children.
AMI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website and does not knowingly sell or share personal information belonging to individuals under 16.
If we learn that information from a child has been submitted to us improperly, we will take reasonable steps to address the information as required by applicable law.
23. Real Estate Record-Retention Obligations
As a California real estate brokerage, AMI may be legally required to retain certain listings, transaction documents, deposit records, trust records, agreements, and other materials obtained or executed in connection with licensed real estate activity.
Privacy requests do not override records that AMI is legally required or otherwise permitted to retain.
Information retained solely for legal, regulatory, audit, professional, or record-retention purposes will not be used for incompatible purposes.
24. Professional and Regulatory Disclosures
Nothing in this Privacy Policy changes AMI's obligations under applicable California real estate licensing laws, fiduciary duties, brokerage agreements, disclosure obligations, financing laws, professional standards, contractual obligations, or other applicable requirements.
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with the California Department of Real Estate, other regulatory authorities, law enforcement, courts, subpoenas, audits, investigations, or other lawful governmental requests.
25. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AMI may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, technology, business practices, legal obligations, or privacy requirements.
When we make changes, we will post the revised Privacy Policy and update the “Last Updated” date above.
If a change materially affects the way we use personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by applicable law.
